Yippee! It's finally spring. The intrepid
Canadian geese have
returned to the land of ten
thousand lakes, foals are being born here on the
farm, and Under Your Spell, my first Witches of
Mayfair novel, will be released at the end of
May--just in time for warm weather reading.
Earlier in the year, when I was certain winter would
never admit defeat, I spent two weeks on an eco
adventure in Costa Rica with Travis. We camped on the beach,
howled at the monkeys, and climbed to the top of Mt. Cherripo. Feeling my heart try to pound its way
through my rib cage was so exhilarating I decided to
go with Chrissy's 'why the h*** not' philosophy and
climb Mt. Whitney with my kids this coming
summer. And since I'll be in California, I'm also
going to attend the RWA conference. So, if you
happen to be in the area on July 30th, drop by the
world's most ridiculously large author signing at
the San Francisco Marriot and get yourself some
autographed romance novels to spice up your summer.
I'll be doing a bunch of signings in the upper
Midwest, too. If you're interested, please check my
website for dates. I love to see friendly faces. If
you buy a book, even unfriendly faces are welcome.
And keep an eye out for my second Witches of Mayfair
romance, my fifth Chrissy McMullen mystery, and a
fun faerie anthology with Mary Janice Davidson, Leandra
Logan, and Michele Hauf. Unless things go awry, all
three novels should be released early in 2009.

Until then, I'd love to hear from you. My website
has a fresh new look so please pop in, take a look
around, and enter a contest or two. I'll be giving
away some fun (and fattening) prizes in conjunction
with the release of Spell.
It's been great meeting so many readers,
booksellers, and librarians at stores and
conventions recently. Some of you are crazy. (You
know who you are.) Some of you are kindred spirits.
(Probably the same people.) All of you are
fantastic. I can't thank you enough for your
support.
Yours Truly,
Lois Greiman
